ReviewNudgeBot is a Slack app that shows Bitbucket Cloud pull requests in Slack. This policy explains what the app and this website collect, why, and for how long. By installing the app or using this website you agree to it. Questions and requests go to max@reviewnudgebot.com.
What the app collects
From Slack: your workspace ID and name, the bot token Slack issues at installation, the IDs of channels you invite the bot to, and, for people who link their account, their Slack user ID, display name and profile timezone. The timezone is used only to send nudges and the weekly summary during working hours.
From Bitbucket: an OAuth token for the connected workspace and one for each person who links their account, the account IDs and display names of pull request authors and reviewers, repository names and IDs, and the IDs of the webhooks the bot creates. Tokens are used only to call the Bitbucket API on your behalf and can be revoked at any time from your Bitbucket settings or by unlinking in the app.
Pull request metadata: title, description, branch names, author, reviewers and their approval state, build status, comment events and the merge or decline state. Comment text is shown in the Slack thread and is not kept by us beyond the event that delivered it.
Never collected: source code, diffs or file contents. The bot does not request repository content and never clones, reads or stores code.
Where data lives
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in the us-east-1 (N. Virginia) region. Application logs are kept for 30 days for maintenance and troubleshooting. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties, except as required by law.
Retention and deletion
- Data is kept while the app is installed in your Slack workspace.
- When the app is removed from a workspace, its Slack token stops working immediately and all data for that workspace is deleted within 30 days.
- Linked Bitbucket tokens are deleted when a person unlinks their account or when the workspace connection is removed.
- Any workspace administrator or user can ask for deletion at max@reviewnudgebot.com. We verify the request, delete the data within 15 business days and confirm by email.
